As we begin the last few days of the 2021-2022 school year, I wanted to reach out to let you all know how excited I am to be joining the Noddin community as your new school principal. I am truly honored for this opportunity and look forward to our future together.

 

I’d like to share a little more about myself as we begin our new journey together. I have spent the last 16 years as an educator with the Union School District, twelve of those years as a classroom teacher at Noddin. The past four years, I have been an instructional support ToSA (teacher on special assignment) district-wide and also served as summer school principal for USD. This is a full-circle moment for me, I feel like I am finally able to come “home,” and I have the unique perspective of knowing Noddin’s history, the vision of the school and district. I look forward to building upon the great work together that has been done.

 

My family has also been part of the community for the past six years as our two children attend Noddin. We love being part of the parent community and have loved Noddin for our children. It is a special place to be.

You can expect collaboration, communication, and dedication for our students. I absolutely love being an educator, and I am looking forward to building relationships with students, staff, and families. I look forward to working together to have fun and enrich the lives of our students.

 

Together we will find grace, compassion, resilience, and flexibility as we support each other to support our students, and I look forward to meeting you all in the coming months. I hope that everyone enjoys the last few days of school and has a safe and healthy summer.
