Before / After School Programs

Noddin offers many opportunities for students throughout the school-year.  Information about offerings is sent home in the Thursday envelope.  All offering dates are included on our website's calendar.  Although some classes may change, these are some of the ones that we have had for many years:

Before-school Chorus meets twice a week at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday and Thursday (starting date TBD) in the cafeteria. Two concerts are held annually.

This is a fee-based program with Mr. John Hess.

Instrumental Music - A qualified teacher, Roberta Howe, offers instrumental music to 4th and 5th graders at Noddin from October to May. This after school instrumental music program is fee-based.  Students meet with the instructor for 60-minutes per week.  Intermediate Band will be held on Wednesdays from 1:30-2:30 and Beginning Band will meet on Thursdays from 2:50-3:50 PM in our Music Room 23.  Instruments are not provided.

No practices are held during conference time.

Academic Chess meets once per week after school for 10 weeks and teaches students to think deeply, solve problems, develop patience, evaluate positions and compete well.  Strategic planning and gaining confidence is also emphasized.  This is a fee-based program.

Lego Computer Robotics is offered by instructor Kristine North and meets for either a 3 or 5 session workshop.  This is a very popular class and fills quickly.

Other offerings include: golf, art, zumba, and drama.
